Directions:
No baking and simple for kids. Combine 4-5 ounces of cinnamon to 1 cup of applesauce to form a stiff dough, adding additional applesauce if necessary. Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters. Make hole for a ribbon with a straw. Carefully place ornaments on a wire rack or cookie sheet to dry. Let air dry for several days, turning over occasionally. Or preheat oven to 200 degrees, turn off oven then place cookie sheets in oven. Let ornaments dry in the oven.

Personal Notes: Purchase large container of cinnamon at Sams, Costco or Harvest Health. Hang ornaments near tree lights in order to help release the wonderful cinnamon aroma. Great family activity. The ornaments if wrapped up carefully will last for year and will retain their aroma.
