1 cup butter
1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts (usually pecans or walnuts)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla together. Mix flour and salt together and stir into batter. Add nuts and mix them into the batter. Chill until cold. With the oven at 400 degrees, roll into balls and put on ungreased pan. Put them in the oven for about 10-12 minutes. When they come out, roll them in powdered sugar while they are still warm. Let cool and roll again.
