1 bottle sauce

brown sugar to taste 1-3 (heaping table spoons)

1 juice of lemon or vinegar

season salt and black pepper

onion and bell pepper (1/3 of each)

1 stick of unsalted butter



Directions:
Directions:
Simmer the vegetables in half a stick of butter until tender on low to medium heat. Add sauce and season to taste with spices, sugar and (add lemon juice slowly). It is better to use too little lemon than too much .You can use vinegar in the place of the lemon if you like.



Once you have incorporated all the ingredients bring to a boil and reduce the heat to a low to medium low temperature for 20-30 minutes. Serve on the side because if the meat is smoked to the bone sauce is just a condiment on the side.
