2 lbs of stewing beef
1 medium onion
1 clove of garlic
1-1/2 cups of water
3/4 cup of ketchup
2 tbls worcestershire sauce
2 tsp salt
2 tsp paprika
1-1/2 tsp dry mustard
dash of cayenne (optional)
1/4 cup cold water
2 tbls flour

Directions:
Directions:
Add beef, onion and garlic to a frying pan, and cook until meat is brown. Once cooked drain the fluid. Add the beef to a pot that contains all of the other ingredients. Heat to boiling and then simmer for 2 to 2-1/2 hours, or until beef is tender. Mix cold water and flour together and add to goulash to thicken before serving.
