1 sheet frozen puff pastry from a 17 oz. package and thaw according to directions.
1 large egg, beaten
1/3 c. grated parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Directions:
Unfold the pastry onto a piece of wax paper. Brush half the beaten egg over it's surface.
Mix the cheese and chili powder in small bowl; sprinkle half the mixture over the pastry and press in slightly. Turn the pastry over, remove wax paper and brush with remaining egg and spread remaining cheese; press in. Use a pizza cutter to cut dough into 20- 1/2 inch strips. pick up and twist each strip, one at a time, and lay on ungreased baking sheet, pressing ends down to anchor them. Place baking sheet in freezer for 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 425º. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes. cool. Store at room temperature for up to a week.
