2 Lb. Fresh Green Beans.
2 bacon slices.
1/4 cup minced shallots.
3 Tbsp coarsely chopped almonds.
1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar.
2 Tbsp brown sugar.
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Place green beans in boiling salted water. Cover and cook 2 min. Drain and rinse under cold water. Drain beans well; Place in large bowl and set aside.
Cook bacon slices in a small skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove bacon, and drain on paper towels, reserving 2 Tbsp of drippings in skillet. Saute shallots and almonds in hot drippings for 1 min. Remove shallots and almonds and let cool. Add vinegar, sugar, and salt to the skillet and stir until sugar dissolves. Stir in crumbled bacon.
Pour vinegar mixture over beans ; add shallots and almonds, tossing gently to coat. Cover and chill 1 hour.
