Bear Italiano Recipe

1 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. red bell pepper
2 T. butter
1 1/2 lb. bear meat cut into bite size pieces
1 (14 oz) can stewed tomatoes
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 small onion, chopped
3 T. Worcestershire sauce
2-4 cloves garlic or minced garlic
1 t. basil
1/4 t. black pepper
1/2 t. oregano
2 bay leaves
3 T. Parmesan cheese
Serve over hot spaghetti

Cook mushrooms and red peppers in butter until soft. Remove from pan. Brown meat in drippings. Add all other ingredients except spaghetti. Bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Add water as needed, you will need to add water a little more often when it gets close to being done.
