1 1/8 c flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup soft shortening(part margarine)
1/2 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together and set aside. Mix next four ingredients together with wooden spoon and add dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.

Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes.
Yield: 2- 2 1/2 dozen cookies
