1 lb. bulk sausage
1/2 chopped sweet onion
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. milk
1 8 oz. pkg. elbow macaroni (cooked and drained)
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp garlic salt

Directions:
Directions:
Saute sausage and onion. Pour off drippings. Add flour, salt, and pepper and blend well. Gradually stir in milk and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Add to macaroni plus 1 c. of the cheese. Spoon into a lightly greased 1-1/2 to 2 qt. casserole dish. Top with remaining cup of cheese and sprinkle paprika and garlic salt over all. Bake @ 400º for 25 minutes.
