1 large fryer, stewed and deboned
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 pkg tortillas dipped in hot stock, long enough to wilt
1/2 lb grated cheddar cheese
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
garlic salt to taste
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can Rotel tomatoes, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Combine chicken, onion and pepper. Layer chicken mixture alternately with softened tortillas in shallow, buttered casserole dish. Top with cheese and sprinkle chili powder. Spread cream chicken soup over top. Spread mushroom soup over top. Top with crushed tomatoes, Bake 30-40 mins @ 350º

This was one of my most favorite recipes that Mom would cook back in the "good ol' days" when no one was worrying about fat content! This qualifies as "comfort food" in the best way!!
