2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
12 oz. Bakers chocolate flavored chips
1 1/3 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup Crisco (solid)
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Measure into medium sized bowl: rolled oats and chocolate chips. Measure into small sized bowl: flour, salt, baking soda. Measure into large bowl: sugar, brown sugar, Crisco, eggs and vanilla. Cream sugar mixture until fluffy. Add flour mixture and mix well. Remove beaters.Dump oatmeal and chips into bowl of batter. Stir well. Use ungreased cookie sheets. Drop big tablespoonfuls about 2" apart. Bake at 375º about 10 mins, depending oven.
