3 pounds beef shank
1 pint tomato juice
1/3 cup chopped onion
4 tsp salt
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp chili powder
2 bay leaves
1 pound can tomatoes
1 cup diced celery
1 can whole kernel corn
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup diced potatoes
1-10oz pkg frozen lima beans

Combine meat, tomato juice, onions seasoning and 6 cups water. Cover and simmer for 2 hours. Cut meat from bones, strain broth and skim off fat, add vegetables, simmer 1 hour.
