2 Cups Banana, Pumpkin, or Squash
3 Eggs
2/3 Cup Water
2 2/3 Cup Sugar
2/3 Cup Shortening
3 1/3 Cup Flour
1 3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Nutmeg
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cloves
1 tsp Ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs, water, then the fruit or vegetable of choice. Blend together the dry ingredients then add to the creamed mixture. Mix well. Pour into greased bread pans. Sprinkle top of batter with cinnamon and sugar. Bake 325 for 70 minutes.
Note: Makes 2 loves if baked in regular sized loaf pan or 3 loaves if using the smaller pans.
