Ingredients:  
Combine together:
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

Mix together:
2 cups cream style corn
2 eggs, well beaten
2 Tablespoons melted shortening (could use margarine or butter but not oil)

Directions:
Directions:

Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients, mix well. Drop into deep hot
fat and fry until golden brown. Don't make these too big as they will not
cook clear through and be doughy.

Can be served with maple syrup and butter, jam or jelly, or dust with
powdered sugar.
