1 Pound beef flank steak
3 Tablespoons lite soy sauce, divided
6 Teaspoons vegetable oil, divided
1 Tablespoon corn starch
3 Teaspoons brown sugar, divided
1/4 Pound green beans, cut diagonally into 2” pieces
1 10 ounce package frozen asparagus, thawed and cut diagonally into 2” pieces
1/4 Pound mushrooms, sliced
2 Tablespoons dry sherry
6 Green onions, cut into 2” slivers
1/2 Teaspoon Oriental dark roasted sesame oil

Cut beef flank steak lengthwise in half. Cut steak across the grain into 1/8” thick strips. Combine 1tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of oil, cornstarch and 1teaspoon brown sugar; pour over beef strips and marinate 30 minutes. Heat nonstick pan over medium heat; add 5 remaining teaspoons oil. Stir-fry green beans 3 – 4 minutes in oil; add asparagus and mushrooms and cook 2 minutes. Remove warm vegetables; keep warm. Combine sherry, remaining 2 tablespoons soy sauce and 2 teaspoons brown sugar; reserve. Stir-fry beef (1/3 at a time) 2 – 3 minutes; reserve. Return beef, vegetables and sherry mixture to frying pan and heat through. Stir in green onions. Add sesame oil and stir. Serve immediately.
