1 1/4 cups Butter or Margarine -- softened
2 cups Sugar
2 Eggs
2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 cups Flour
3/4 cup Cocoa Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
Butter Cream Frosting:
1 pound Powdered Sugar
1/4 cup Flour
1/4 cup Vegetable Shortening
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 tablespoon Corn Syrup
1 tablespoon Milk -- (up to 3 Tbsp.)

Cookies:
Cream margarine, sugar and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Add vanilla; combine
flour, cocoa, soda and salt in another bowl, then add to creamed mixture.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for
8 - 9 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

Frosting:
In a medium bowl mix powdered sugar and flour, then make a well in the
middle. Add all other ingredients except Milk to center of bowl, then begin
mixing with electric mixer. Add milk, one Tbsp. at a time until frosting is
desired consistency.

Spread butter cream frosting between cookies to make sandwiches.
