5 Tart Apples
1 1/3 fresh bread crumbs
1/2 C sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 C apple juice
2 Tbsp softened butter

Directions:
Directions:
Lightly butter 6-cup baking dish. Peel, core, slice 5 tart apples (I like
Granny Smith). Combine 1-1/3 cups fresh bread crumbs, 1/2 cup sugar and 1
teaspoon cinnamon. Layer half of the apples in dish. Cover with half of the
crumbs. Pour over 1/3 cup apple juice. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Repeat
with remaining apples and crumbs; dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Cover with
foil. Bake in heated 375° F oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil. Bake 30
