4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup white flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup lemon juice, fresh or reconstituted
1 tsp grated lemon rind
1 ready made, 9 inch, deep dish pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and sugar until thick and creamy. Add flour, baking powder, lemon juice and rind. Pour into ready crust and bake in 350 degree oven until center of pie rises and the top turns a deep brown. Cool and serve in small slices. Decorate pie with powdered sugar sifted through holes of paper doily or top with mounds of whipped cream if desired.
