1/3 cup butter
1/4 to 1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp cornstarch
4 medium apples, peeled cored and cut in half

Directions:
Directions:
In 10 inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat (3 to 4 minutes) Stir in sugar and cornstarch. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Cover. Cook over medium heat, spooning sauce over apples occassionally, until apples are fork tender and sauce is thickened (12 to 15 minutes)

To serve: Place 2 apple halves in individual desert dishes and spoon 1/2 cup sauce over top.
