1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 cup water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons cream of tartar

Directions:
Combine all ingredients, heat the mixture stirring constantly. When dough pulls away from the side of the pan and is not sticky, remove dough from the heat.

Now the dough is ready so take some in your hand and knead.

Children will not only enjoy playing with play dough but making the play dough. A variety of cookie cutters are also fun.
