2 Tsp. butter melted
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup sliced carrot
½ c. chopped green pepper or celery
1 lb. ground beef
2 cups tomato juice
1 cup diced potatoes
1 ½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/3 cup flour
1 quart milk (don’t double)

Cook Onion, Carrots, and Green Pepper/Celery in butter until tender.Add Groud Beef to vegetables and brown until done. Stir in Tomoto Juice, Diced Potatoes, Salts, and Pepper. Cook until Potatoes are tender. Use one cup of the milk and mix with flour to form smoot paste. Pour remaining milk into soup. Add milk/flour mixture to soup to thicken (do not boil).
