2 1/2 Cup Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 Cup Shortening
1/4 tsp Butter Flavoring
1 Cup Crushed Corn Flakes (or Frosted Flakes)
4 Large Apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
1 Egg Yolk

Glaze:
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1 Tbsp Water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, salt, shortening, and butter flavoring. Add 1 egg yolk (save white) plus milk to equal 1/3 cup.
Roll 1/2 of above dough to fit 10x15 pan. Sprinkle with cornflakes. Add apples. Roll out rest of dough for top. Press edges together. Beat egg white and brush on crust. Bake at 375 for 1 hour. Mix glaze ingredients and top dessert.
