3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. light corn syrup
1/3 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and cocoa in a medium saucepan. Blend in the evaporated milk and corn syrup. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Once it boils, keep stirring for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Serve warm. Makes about 2 cups sauce. Serve over icecream, pound cake or angel food cake.

This sauce can be refrigerated for later use. Reheat in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly.
