4 cups of milk
4 eggs
1 cup of sugar
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract ( not concentrated)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk in a large pot. don't let boil.

While it is heating mix together eggs sugar and flour

Slowly pour mixture into the pot of milk.

Stir continues for appox. 10 minutes- until it thickens up.

take off heat and add vanilla extract and stir in.

Pour into small bowls and let cool.

can be eaten warm or chilled and served.

My Grandma MeMe use to make this for me growing up. She was from Avoyelles Parish and as most other Cajuns, she never would measure any of the ingredients, but it always came out great.
