(1 9" pie crust)

1/3-cup plus 1 tablespoon shortening
1-cup plain flour
1/2-tsp. salt
2-3 tablespoons cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening thoroughly into flour and salt. Sprinkle with water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Mix and gather into a ball. On lightly floured cloth-covered board, roll 2 inches larger than inverted pie pan. Ease into pan. Follow directions for pastry above except prick bottom and side thoroughly with fork to prevent puffing while shell bakes. Bake at 475 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool.
