1 pkg. Shredded Frozen Hashbrowns
1/4 Onion, chopped
2 c. Sour Cream
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
2 c. Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1/3 c. Butter, melted
2 c. Potato Chips, crushed (Optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw Potatoes just slightly and break them apart. Mix the Onion, Sour Cream, Chicken Soup, and the Cheddar Cheese. Stir in half of the Potatoes and mix well. Stir in the remaining Potatoes. In another bowl melt the Butter. Stir the Crushed Chips into the melted Butter. Press the Potato mixture into a 9" X 13" casserole dish, and top with crumb mixture. Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
