2 cups sugar
2/3 cup butter
2 eggs
2 squares chocolate
2 1/4 cup flour
q tsp. salt
3/4 cup beer
8 oz cherries (cut up)
1/2 cup nutmeats
vanilla
2 tsp. soda
Directions:
Directions:
Mix first four ingredients together, then alternate the dry ingredients with liquid ones. Add cherries and nutmeats. 9x13 cake pan - bake 350º - 45 min.

Frosting - 1 cup milk , 2Tbsp Flour - cook until thick and cool, mix together 1c sugar, 1c butter , add mixtures together and beat until smooth.
