1 c. sugar
2 CT. pickles
1/3 c. canning salt
1 1/4 c. white vinegar
2 1/4 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Slice 2 qts pickles, place in jars with onions, peppers & dill. Boil liquid and pour over pickles. Cover with lid and let stand 24 hours. They are then ready to eat. Store in refrigerator.

One ice cream pail takes a double batch of brine, cut salt on 2nd batch to 1/4 c. salt or so.
