Ingredients:  
3-4 medium size potatoes
1/2 stick of of butter or margarine
(sliced and scored)
4 T. vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Slice potatoes into 1/4" thick slices. Score, (criss-cross), the potatoes with a knife. Spread oil into a 13 x 9 pan. Spread potatoes in a single layer, as best you can. Season with salt and pepper; add pats of butter over the top of the potatoes. Cook at 375º for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until desired crispness.
