2 tbsp margarine
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups chicken broth
2 (10 oz.) packages frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
1 1/2 cups milk
4 oz Velveeta cheese
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, melt the margarine and saute’ onion until tender. Stir in the flour. Gradually add the chicken broth and then the broccoli, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil. Stir and reduce heat to low. Cover & cook for 15-20 minutes or until broccoli is done & the soup thickens. Stir in milk and cheese cubes cooking over a low heat until cheese is melted & smooth. Season to taste.
