2 1/2 pounds ground chuck
3 green peppers, seeded, & cut up
2 large onions, cut up
1 tbsp chili powder
1 bay leaf
salt & pepper to taste
1 can tomato paste
1 lb can tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce
1 large can kidney beans ( or red beans)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion and pepper chunks in small amount of oil until soft. Remove. Sear meat until well browned, adding chili powder as you sear. Then add peppers, onions, all sauces, tomatoes, spices and beans. Simmer for about 1 half hour. Tastes even better when eaten the next day.
