8cs.flour,1 pound of lard,1tblsp.salt. Mix together with pastry blender.10 lbs potatoes 1lb.carrots,2large onions, !/2 of a rhutabega.Dice and mix good.Cut the flour and lard in a large bowl,add ice water a little at a time until all is mixed.Roll out a little at a time into circles. I use a lunch plate to cut around to make a circle.Fill half with the potato mixture ,( about a cup or so)and put a pat of butter on top. Bring the other half of the dough over the pasty and seal with a fork. Bake these for an hour at 350 degrees.
