2 lb. round steak
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. flour
6 Tbsp. fat
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (# 2) can tomatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Season steak with salt and pepper; dredge in flour. Cook in hot fat until browned. Remove from skillet. Stir remaining flour into fat; cook until browned. Return steak to skillet. Add remaining ingredients and 1 c. water. Simmer for 2 hours or until steak is tender, adding water if needed.
