2 Inch NY Strip Steak
1 Tbsp salt
1 Tbsp pepper
1 Tbsp garlic powder

1. Heat the grill so its "very hot"
2. Sear each side of the steak for 2 min to create a criss cross effect
3. Then leave one side down for 5 min (do not touch or press down)
4. Flip and leave other side down for 5 min
5. Serve with salad and enjoy!

For a Black and Blue (ala Grandpa) steak, heat the grill until its extremely hot and place steak into flame. Scorch outsides of steak so they are black and the middle remains rare.
