Buy a decent cut of sirloin tip, rump roast or other beef, approximately 3-4lbs
Season with salt and pepper and garlic
one or ywo onions

Directions:
Directions:
Bake and brown roast with two whole, peeled onions in the oven at 350º for about 1-1/2 hours
Remove from oven and cool
Cut off excess fat. Thinly slice beef.
Remove fat from roasting pan, add water to pan drippings and add beef boullion cube if necessary, sliced roast beef and the roasted onions. Add other sliced onions browned in butter/oil as needed. There must be enough liquid to cover the meat. Place back in oven to heat or use an electric oven.

Buy small rolls. Slice rolls in half. For serving ,dip the top of the roll lightly in the au jus.
