Pile of potatoes, peeled then ground in a meat grinder
2 tsp.baking powder
2 1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 cups white flour
ham or bacon
ham broth

Directions:
Directions:
Grind potatoes fine and drain in colander.
Measure after to get 8 cups.
Add: 2 tsp. baking powder, 2 1/2 tsp. salt, 4 1/2 cups white flour
Mix all together. Moisten hands. Use no more flour. Form into balls about the size of a lemon with diced ham or crumbled bacon in center. Boil in ham broth 1 hour, depending on size of dumplings. Can be warmed up diced in milk.
