A lb or more of new potatoes.
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. flour
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Peel and slice potatoes. Cook in water until tender. Drain. Melt butter in saucepan on med. heat. Add flour .Stir. Let it bubble then slowly add milk until thickened. Then add cooked potatoes.

This is Hilarys favorite recipe. She always said " I like Memaw's creamy potatoes" and now that is what we call them.
