1 c. butterscotch chips
1/2 c. peanut butter
4 c. Rice Krispies
1 T. water

1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butterscotch chips with peanut butter in heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until well blended. Remove from Heat.
Add Rice Krispies, stirring until well coated with the butterscotch mixture. Press half of cereal mixture into buttered 8" x 8" pan. Chill in refrigerator while making the chocolate mixture. Set remaining mixture aside.
Combine chocolate chips, sugar, butter and water; stir over hot water until chocolate melts and until mixture is well blended. Spread over chilled cereal mixture. Spread remaining cereal mixture evenly over the top. Press in gently. Chill. Remove from refrigerator about 10 mins. before cutting into bars.

I haven't made these in years but they are delicious. The only change I would make is to double the recipe for a 9" x 13" pan. Believe me they will go fast!!! Got this out of a Sunday paper eons ago.
