1-1/4 cups sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
3 oz water
1 tsp flavoring oil
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Heat sugar, cream of tartar, and water in saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves. Increase heat and cook until syrup nears 310 degrees, about 25 minutes. Add flavoring oil and food coloring until desired color is attained. When syrup reaches 310 degrees, pour it into molds and insert sticks. Let cool 5 to 10 minutes, removing molds before candy sticks. Makes 8 lollipops.
