Place in one bowl
2/3 Cup shortening
1 C sugar
1 t vanilla
2 eggs

Place in another bowl
2 1/2 C flour
1 T baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 C milk
Directions:
Directions:
Place in bowl wet ingredients (all BUT eggs) and beat with an electric mixer until fluffy, and creamy. Add eggs and beat well.

Shift together dry mixture in another bowl and shift together. Slowly add to wet mixture and mix.
