1/2 C shortening
1 C brown sugar - packed
2 eggs
1 C mashed bananas (about 2)
2 C Gold Metal Flour
2 t baking powder
1/4 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1/4 t cinnamon
1/4 t cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well shortening, sugar, eggs. Stir in bananas.
Mix in separate bowl dry mixtire- flour, baking powder, baking soda, saltm cinnamon, cloves. Mix dry into wet and chill for 1 hr.

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake for 8 to 10 min. If desired frost a thin confectioner sugar icing. Makes 3-4 dozen
