1 cup butter softened
2 3 ounce packages cream cheese softened
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
1 teaspoon lemon juice


Filling

3 cups ( 1 pound carton) dry cottage cheese
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 Tbsp grated lemon peel

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixer bowl, combine all ingredients for crust. Blend with mixer until a dough forms. Cover; chill 30 minutes

In a large saucepan, combine filling ingredients; blend well. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick.

Divide dough into 4 parts; roll each part into a 9 inch square. Cut into 3 inch squares. Place 1 Tbsp filling in center of each square. Fold dough in half and seal edges. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 350 degrees for 22 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
