Pastry for two crust pie
36 Ritz crackers
2 C water
2 C sugar
2 tsp cream of tartar
2 T lemon juice
butter or margarine
cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Fit bottom crust of pie into pie plate. Break crackers coarsely into lined pie plate. Combine water, sugar and cream of tartar in saucepan; boil gently 15 minutes. Add lemon juice, cool. pour over crackers; dot generously with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover with top crust and flute edges together. Cut slits in crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, until crust is golden. Serve warm.
