1 c flour
2/3 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/3 c softened butter
1/2 c milk
1 egg
fresh berries
whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease and flour shortcake pan; set aside. In large bowl, combine all ingredients but berries and whipped cream. Blend at low speed until moistened. beat 2 minutes on medium speed, scraping bowl often. Pour batter into pans, dividing evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. let cool 10 minutes in pan; invert onto cooling rack and cool completely. serve with fresh berries and whipped cram Serves 6
