1/3 cup rice
2/3 c. water
2 T. butter
1 medium cabbage, coarsely chopped
1 lb ground pork
1 large egg
1/2 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the rice in water until done. Melt butter in large skillet and slightly stir-fry cabbage. Mix ground pork, cooked rice, egg and milk together. Put half of cabbage in bottom of a large casserole and cover with meat mixture, topping with remainder of cabbage. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour covered, uncover and bake at 325 degrees for a half hour. Serves 4 to 5. Good with applesauce or fruit salad.
