2/3 cup shortening (10 2/3 tbls. butter)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together shortening, sugars, egg, and vanilla. Sift flour, soda, and salt together. Combine the two mixtures together. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes.
