1-cup brown sugar
1-cup sugar
½ cup butter
2 eggs
4 cups shredded apples
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp salt
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Cream sugars and butter together, and then add the eggs and apples Sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg & salt together and
Mix with the other ingredients, including the nuts.

Bake at 350 for 45 min. in a greased 9x13 baking pan.

Butter Sauce
½ cup butter
1 cup butter
1-cup sugar
½ cup evaporated milk
½ tsp vanilla

Heat the first 3 ingredients over medium low heat for 12 min (do not boil) Take of heat and add the vanilla – pour over cake serve with whip cream
