1 cup slivered almonds
1 Tbsp corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 stick margarine or butter
½ cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Before cooking place a cookie sheet size piece of foil on a heatproof surface.
Put all ingredients in a 10” skillet and bring to a boil on medium heat.
Boil stirring constantly for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown don’t cook past this point. Pour mixture onto the foil it will spread on the sheet.
Let cool 15-20 minutes once cooled break into pieces
(similar to peanut brittle but better)
