8" unbaked pie shell
4 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
4 thin slices onion, sautéed
8 paper thin slices ham, shredded
8 paper thin slices natural Swiss Cheese
3 eggs
1 cup light cream, heated
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:

Bake pie crust for 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Sprinkle bacon and onion over crust. Add 1/2 of the ham and 1/2 of the cheese. Repeat the ham and cheese layers. Beat eggs slightly and blend in mustard and hot cream and continue to beat to mix well. Pour over meat; let stand 5-10 minutes. Sprinkle with a tiny bit of nutmeg and bake at 350º oven for 30 to 35 minutes until set. Cool on wire rack for 15 minutes.
