Ingredients:
1 pkg 48 Dried Dates
2 lbs Bacon
2 C Ketchup
1 C Dark brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Precook bacon half way.

Mix together the ketchup and sugar. This mixture should be fairly sweet. Adjust amounts to taste...

Wrap Dates with bacon, once round and secure with a tooth pick so the pick is facing down and won't burn during cooking. Baste some of the ketchup mixture on bacon wrapped dates at this time.

Cook at 400F, turning the Dates. After 5 minutes, remove any grease from pan. Return to oven and cook for 5 - 10 more minutes. Remove any more accumulated grease.

Baste any remaining ketchup mixture over the Dates and cook in the oven until the ketchup is bubbling and 'gooey,' a few more minutes.
